Lego DIRT

Lego Test DIRT Q1: The company that rates video games in the UK is PEGI Q2: One reason why a film company would release a video game linked to a film is to market the film on multiple platforms, so children who buy the game are more likely to go see the movie. Another reason is that the film company wants to expand to multiple platforms to make a bigger profit. Q3: 

The Lego Movie

The Lego Movie is one of the most finely marketed movies ever. Although the actual film came out on the 14th February 2014, they started marketing it halfway through 2013. The film had a $60 - $65 million USD budget, so they released multiple teaser posters and trailers to market it. They managed to make a teaser poster for all the main characters. Alongside this, they  They targeted the main target audience, young children, through the use of  I think The Lego Movie is successful because, for all its faults, ultimately, it does what it is meant to. It broke boundaries with branded marketing, it successfully targeted the different sections of its target audience, and it

Denotation: The literal or primary meaning of a word Connotation: The idea or feeling a word invokes in someone in addition to their literal meaning The lego Movie video game poster has the main character, Emmet, at the front with the title above him. Behind him is the secondary character, Wild Style, and the "oracle" Vitruvius. In the background is the antagonist, Lord Business, and his army. The way the main character is at the front, smiling and lit up shows that he is the hero, in contrast to the way Lord Business is in the background, with an angry face and emitting a red glow which clearly shows him as a villain. The colour palette of this shows a lot of reds, yellows and whites, which is most often used in action films. On top of the building where batman is has a lot of blacks and blues and grays, which is most often used in crime and thriller. This poster is aimed at young children because of its simplicity.
