Sound is used to present themes the target audience can relate to in Sk8er Boi and Teenage Dirtbag.
One example of this is in Sk8er Boi, where the theme of bullying is used to represent teenagers still in school, the theme of bullying is also used in Teenage Dirtbag, which is set in an American school.
