LO: To research the process, companies and regulators behind the film industry.

  1. A media conglomerate is a company that has interest in a wide range of enterprises. Lego is an example of a conglomerate because they have toys, films, lego land, t.v shows and more.
  2. The Big Six Hollywood film studios are: Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Pictures, Colombia Pictures and Universal Pictures.
  3. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is responsible for the national classification and censorship of films in the UK. The age ratings are: 
        
      5. Warner Animation pictures and Lego Animations produced The Lego Movie.
      6. The Lego Movie was produced by Dan Lin and Roy Lee.
      7. The Lego Movie was directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
      8. Half the funding for the Lego Movie was covered by Village Roadshow Pictures, the rest was paid for by Warner Bros.
      9. The Lego Movie was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
