Climate Change and its impact on the Environment

Climate change is wiping out the insect population.

As we all know, insects are a vital part of the ecosystem. They feed other animals, they pollinate plants and they control insect and plant pests.
However, due to climate change, insensitive farming and loss of their habitat, many insect species are facing a rapid decline in population.

Scientists warn that a collapse of the insect population could cause widespread disruption to life on Earth and by the end of the century most of their habitats could be unsuitable for life at the end of the century.

We have been warned that we have just over a decade to limit the effects of climate change on Earth.
